Just a short note to say Goodbye and thankyou to all your loyal custom over the past 5 years.

We closed our doors for the final time on New Years Day

We will miss you all greatly and hope that you have enjoyed it as much as we have but times are hard and obstacles put in our way were just to big to jump!

This is our last message from The Railway but watch this space for The Gastro Club as it may take another form.

We would finally like to wish you all a Happy and Healthy 2012 and once again a huge THANK YOU TO YOU ALL.

On a final note... We would like to thank Marstons for absolutely Nothing! for opening 2 large chain pubs within a 2 mile radius and for increasing our rent every year also for their understanding (not) when times were hard and for supporting good businesses and finally after doing all these lovely things for us trying to charge us for repairs which were in a better state than 5 years ago!
Good luck to the new tenants (I mean that one) already on a better footing, given they only have to pay a quarter of the rent we were charged!
